Double The success For Lakeside At The 2022-2023 European Property Awards!
Another great achievement for our team here at Lakeside: we have been awarded a 'Five Star' recognition for our two entries in the 2022-2023 European Property Awards, for 'Best Real Estate Agency Single Office Italy' and - this year for the first time - ‘Best Real Estate Agency Marketing Italy’.
This adds to our past successes, namely the award for Best Real Estate Agency and Best Real Estate Website of Italy at the European Property Awards 2020/21, and Best Real Estate Agency Single Office of Italy 2019/2020.
The European Property Awards - the largest, most prestigious, and widely recognised programme throughout the regions - is an annual event to celebrate the highest levels of achievement amongst residential and commercial property professionals around the world, open to companies operating in all sectors of the real estate industry.
The event last Thursday 27th of October - held at the luxurious Royal Lancaster hotel in London - featured the crème de la crème of the real estate industry, ranging from architecture, interior design, project developments, and real estate.
We are so proud to bring Italy and in particular Como back into the international spotlight!

The great news of this year was that we’ve been crowned with the 'Five Star' status ALSO in the Best Real Estate Agency Marketing category, surpassing all our fellow contenders across the country.

The European Property Awards - this year in its 29th edition - were judged by an independent panel of over 80 industry experts; judging focused on design, quality, service, innovation, originality, and commitment to sustainability. The judging panel was chaired by Lord Caithness, Lord Best, and Lord Waverley, members of the House of Lords in the UK Parliament.
This prestigious event began with a networking session between all the property industry attendees and winners, along with wonderful seminars by four key speakers, Ilker Hussein, Director of LAUFEN; Stuart Shield, CEO of International Property Media; Jenny Scherrer and Sara Brouckaert of Jaspers-Eyers Architects; and Jo Hamilton, creative director at Jo Hamilton Interiors.

This year’s European Property Awards were sponsored by LAUFEN, a Swiss company dedicated to sanitary ware, with the key mission of transforming bathrooms into esthetically elevated living spaces. Along with associate support from the International Property & Travel, London Chamber of Commerce, Association of Professional interior designers, Barbados estate Agents and valuers association Inc, the Barbados institute of architects, Forbes Kazakhstan, and the British Property Federation.
